STAGECRAFT and Puppetry

Into The woods: The Wekiva river players

Background:

I designed and built a set of puppets for a production of Into the Woods. I collaborated closely with the director and performers to figure out how each puppet needed to move and what personality it should convey, then handled everything from early sketches to material choices and final fabrication. The puppets were engineered to be expressive, durable, and easy for the actors to manipulate, contributing to the visual world of the production.

Contribution:

-Milky White (Cow) Puppet with articulated jaw/ mouth

-Hen Puppet with articulated neck and compartment for egg

-Bird Flock Rod Puppet

Halloween installations

I’ve designed and fabricated a series of custom Halloween installations, each with the intention of transforming everyday spaces into immersive, atmospheric environments. These projects blend sculptural elements, practical effects, lighting design, set construction, and site‑specific staging to bring the storytelling to life.
