Into The woods: The Wekiva river players
Background:
I designed and built a set of puppets for a production of Into the Woods. I collaborated closely with the director and performers to figure out how each puppet needed to move and what personality it should convey, then handled everything from early sketches to material choices and final fabrication. The puppets were engineered to be expressive, durable, and easy for the actors to manipulate, contributing to the visual world of the production.

- Articulated jaw/ mouth controlled from a rod that is pushed on the top of the head next to the grip for easy access
- Flexible body for expressive movement and mobility
